It was founded by Rowena Ravenclaw and the Ravenclaw symbol is an eagle. 

The resident ghost is the Grey Lady.

Head of the house is Professor Flitwick. 

Well-known students: Stewart Ackerly, Terry  Boot,  Mandy Brocklehurst,  Cho Chang,  Luna Lovegood,  Lisa Turpin, Roger Davies (Captain of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team), Padma Patil.
